Polaris America P15-50 Wind Turbine System
The Polaris P15-50 is a U.S. made, 50 kW, horizontal axis, upwind turbine, with active yaw, a direct-drive permanent magnet generator, and a three-bladed, fixed pitch rotor.
The P15-50 wind turbine produces enough energy to power a small US neighborhood. These devices are also intended for agricultural and light industrial applications. It has also been used for years in remote village applications, where diesel power systems supply electricity for a small grid.
